My Avalanche seat on driver side keeps coming on as I drive, this is a hazard because the seat get hot and you have to shut it off taking your attention away from driving. Also I have visited sites of owners of a Avalanche and they all are having simalar problems with their seats. Seems to be a commom problem with the 2004-2006 models. I have been to the Chevy dealers and have had them reprogram the seat and have replaced the control. Cost me money and did not solve problem. It is as if they have no idea what problem is and just using trial and error and then ssay they cannot fix problem, they cannot even shut seat heaters off without shutting everything in the door off(seat control, windows, lock, windows). Why has this not been a recall

I just recently puchased a 2006 Chevy Avalanche. I am noticing a scrubbing feel and braking feel when I turn the wheel to the right in a curve. I was wondering if there are any recalls in this problem. I have noticed that the "service stability" light comes on in the DIC. Could this have anything to do with my problem?

Do you drive a 2006 CHEVROLET AVALANCHE?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
