Description General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2010-2015, 2017 Buick Enclave, 2010-2019 Chevrolet Traverse, and 2011-2016 GMC Acadia vehicles. The side curtain air bags may not be properly attached.
Consequences Unsecured side curtain air bags may not perform as intended, increasing the risk of injury.
Corrective action GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, if necessary, realign or replace the weld nuts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 24, 2021. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N202321200.

Dispite the recall on my vehicle, this is the first time that I can say,(and I have had three new vehicle in the last 7 yrs) that I love, love, love my Traverse. I am leasing right now due to I was not sure if I was going to like it or not, but I really like this cross over. My next vehicle will be a purchace and it will be another Traverse!! I work for an Insurance Agent and when I talk to cusotmers that are looking for a vehicle to try the Chevy Traverse. I don't like recalls, but my dealer has ALWAYS been good with me when I have had recalls on past vehicles.
