3/4/2011 - Brent Deakin
I own a 2001 Crown Vic. I am happy w/ the car. I am unhappy w/ how Ford has handled recall items re: the car only because the car is older. I keep it very well maintained.
The 2011 Chrysler 300 is looking pretty good right now.
I would prefer buying another Ford as overall it has been reliable. That said, a recall should not have an expiry date as this is the fault of your engineering, not my driving or maintenance on the vehicle.

Do you drive a 2001 FORD CROWN VICTORIA?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
