RECALL FOR POWER TRAIN : AXLE HUBS
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023 E450 vehicles. The bolt that secures the rear axle rotor to the wheel-hub may be improperly tightened, possibly resulting in wheel separation.

| Description |
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023 E450 vehicles. The bolt that secures the rear axle rotor to the wheel-hub may be improperly tightened, possibly resulting in wheel separation. |
| Consequences |
Wheel separation from the vehicle increases the risk of a crash. |
| Corrective action |
Dealers will inspect the rear axle serial number, and if necessary, remove and inspect the rear axle rotor and hub assembly. If any bolts are found to be loose, the rotor and hub assembly will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Interim owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed December 15, 2022. Remedy parts are expected to become available in the 1st Quarter of 2023.
