Consequences |
IF THE BRACKET SEPARATES FROM THE RAIL, THE RAIL CAN LIFT ONE OR MORE OF THE INJECTORS, AND FUEL LEAKAGE WILL RESULT. IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, A FIRE COULD OCCUR. |

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL RAIL ON THESE VEHICLES. |

I think that the fact that Ford has the most recalls worldwide has something to day about the company. Not that it's a bad company but that it actually looks into all its makes and models and plays it safe by recalling on issues which are even highly unlikely to occur. I have seen so many issues in other top brands and looked them up only to be surprised that certain common issues haven't been listed as recalls. And here I've owned many Ford cars and see so any recalls that I have personally never experienced issues with for years.
Hats of to Ford for whatever reasons but it seems they don't just build a car sell it and forget about it. They seem to take good ownership and peer back into older past engineering to correct any issues.
