With all the GM stuff going on I thought I might take a moment to recheck recalls on my vehicle that I still drive. 7 years ago at 4pm in the afternoon I was hit head on by a drunk driver. Speed limit 50 mph, my airbags never deployed? There was also a side impact as my vehicle was thrown into another car on the side. I was told the impact was a little off center and that's why they didn't deploy. I also read my manual recently looking for something and it stated the bags deploy on moderate to severe impacts! Now I don't know if they would deploy if I were in another accident. And if they would have deployed my car would have been totaled. Cost of repair slightly under $7,000.00 new bags would have taken the cost way up.Have to do some more research.
