4/20/2010 - Dianna Hannah
My SRS light came on 1 year ago. I had Honda check it and they told me that it's a code 9-3, which means the front seatbelt latch/assembly needs to be replaced. One year ago I was told it was under a "lifetime" warranty. Now, taking it in to have it serviced, and I was told (as of 8 months ago) its no longer under warranty. How can that be? They now want to charge me $295. I called the main Honda center and the lady told me "it looks like" it's still under lifetime warranty. I hope Im not being scammed.

Do you drive a 2000 HONDA ACCORD?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.
