Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2022 Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid vehicles. The fuel tank may have been improperly molded, which can result in a fuel leak.

Description Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2022 Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid vehicles. The fuel tank may have been improperly molded, which can result in a fuel leak.
Consequences A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Corrective action Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel tank, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 26, 2023. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 240.
