RECALL FOR STRUCTURE : BODY : DOOR
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC - DBA Sprinter (Sprinter) is recalling certain model year 2015 Sprinter 2500 and 3500 vehicles manufactured July 1, 2014, to October 14, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the abutting wedge, a component attached to the door jamb to make opening the door easier after a severe frontal impact, may have been installed incorrectly.

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC - DBA Sprinter (Sprinter) is recalling certain model year 2015 Sprinter 2500 and 3500 vehicles manufactured July 1, 2014, to October 14, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the abutting wedge, a component attached to the door jamb to make opening the door easier after a severe frontal impact, may have been installed incorrectly. |
| Consequences |
If a vehicle that has an incorrectly installed abutting wedge is involved in a severe frontal accident, a greater force may be necessary to open the doors, increasing the risk of injury. |
| Corrective action |
Sprinter will notify owners, and dealers will check the installation of the abutting wedge, correcting it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began in March 2015. Owners may contact Sprinter customer service at 1-877-762-8267. |

I love the 2015 Sprinter 2500 V6 diesel
I got my Sprinter March 2015 since than ,I run in few unpleasant issues ,everything that happened with my van in a 10 months period time ,hard to find Mercedes dealers that do service for Sprinter vans when I'm out of state,I live in Michigan ,very frustrating .
Least 4 aligniaments and still have issues on front,
After my first 500 miles issues with DEF / DPF system .
Bad Nox sensor about few times witch is time consuming and money loss and no one sims to care and do something about.
Even now the van is still in warranty 120000 miles since March 2015 but soon won't be in warranty and I'm about to lose my minde ,do to the fact that now I'm losing money for the down time and once the warranty it is over I will lose big money for down time and repaire do to the bad and faulty DEF/DPF SYSTEM.
I'm planing to trade it for another Sprinter,but if the things doesn't work as I planed ,I will have to
