Have a 1996 Aurura with 4 liter. Have taken vehicle with recall notice
for fuel rail replacement to my local GM dealer in Newfoundland Canada.
They tell me that this is only a recall for the US and not a Canadian
recall. If this is a safety recall I would think it would apply every where.

I bought one almost 2 years ago and just today it started smoking and smelling fuel but there's no leaks and the gas gauge went down so fast plus fuel comes out the tail pipe!

Do you drive a 1996 OLDSMOBILE AURORA?

Just because a car has been recalled does not mean it is not a reliable car. Millions of cars get recalled every year. Recalls often involve problems that are rare but could cause a serious problem if they occur. So the risk to any given driver is often remote, even though there may be a few high-profile incidents traced to the problem.

Tell us what you think.
