2009 ALTEC AERIAL DEVICE RECALL - #18V552000

RECALL FOR STRUCTURE

Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2008-2018 Aerial Devices equipped with aluminum work platforms. The platform mounting holes may fail, causing the platform to move unexpectedly.

Owners Notified on 10/19/2018 # Affected 530 Recalled for STRUCTURE Description Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2008-2018 Aerial Devices equipped with aluminum work platforms. The platform mounting holes may fail, causing the platform to move unexpectedly. Consequences If the platform moves unexpectedly, it can increase the risk of injury. Corrective action Altec will notify owners, and dealers will install a bracket reinforcing kit, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin October 17, 2018.
