2023 AUTOCAR XPEDITOR RECALL - #23V018000

RECALL FOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM : INSTRUMENT PANEL : FUEL GAUGE

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Xpeditor vehicles that run on natural gas. A software error in the instrument cluster may cause an inaccurate fuel gauge reading.

Vehicle 2023 AUTOCAR XPEDITOR Manufacturer Autocar, LLC Manufactured between 1/1/1900 - 1/1/1900 Recalled on 1/23/2023 Influenced by Autocar, LLC Owners Notified on 2/22/2023 # Affected 206 Recalled for ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:INSTRUMENT PANEL:FUEL GAUGE Description Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Xpeditor vehicles that run on natural gas. A software error in the instrument cluster may cause an inaccurate fuel gauge reading. Consequences An inaccurate fuel gauge may result in the vehicle unexpectedly running out of fuel and stalling, increasing the risk of a crash. Corrective action Dealers will update the instrument cluster software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 22, 2023.
