RECALL FOR SUSPENSION

Pierce Manufacturing (Pierce) is recalling certain 2012-2017 Arrow XT, Dash, Enforcer, Quantum, and Velocity fire trucks equipped with the T3 rear steer option. The affected vehicles have a rear sway bar that may detach from the vehicle.

Vehicle 2015 PIERCE VELOCITY Manufacturer Pierce Manufacturing Manufactured between 7/31/2014 - 3/24/2017 Recalled on 5/31/2017 Influenced by Pierce Manufacturing Owners Notified on 7/11/2017 # Affected 29 Recalled for SUSPENSION Description Pierce Manufacturing (Pierce) is recalling certain 2012-2017 Arrow XT, Dash, Enforcer, Quantum, and Velocity fire trucks equipped with the T3 rear steer option. The affected vehicles have a rear sway bar that may detach from the vehicle. Consequences If the sway bar detaches, the vehicle may sway more during steering maneuvers, increasing the risk of a crash. Corrective action Pierce will notify owners, and dealers will replace and properly torque the sway bar fasteners, free of charge. The recall began on July 11, 2017.
