RECALL FOR EQUIPMENT : MECHANICAL : BOOM/CRANE/LADDER

Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022 C4000, C5000, C6000, C7000, General, and Trans TL vehicles. A seam in the boom structure may have been improperly welded, causing the weld to crack.

Description Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022 C4000, C5000, C6000, C7000, General, and Trans TL vehicles. A seam in the boom structure may have been improperly welded, causing the weld to crack.
Consequences A cracked weld may lead to the boom failing, increasing the risk of an injury.
Corrective action Dealers will replace or repair the boom, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 8, 2023. Owners may contact Terex's customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN715.
