2018 PREVOST H3-45 VIP RECALL - #22V221000
RECALL FOR ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING : ENGINE : GASOLINE : BELTS AND ASSOCIATED PULLEYS
Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2010-2023 H3-45, H3-45 VIP, X3-45, X3-45 Com, and X3-45 VIP vehicles. In the event of the alternator front bearing seizing, the alternator belt may continue to operate, causing the bearing to overheat.

| Description |
Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2010-2023 H3-45, H3-45 VIP, X3-45, X3-45 Com, and X3-45 VIP vehicles. In the event of the alternator front bearing seizing, the alternator belt may continue to operate, causing the bearing to overheat. |
| Consequences |
An overheated alternator bearing can increase the risk of a fire. |
| Corrective action |
Prevost will replace the alternator belt, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 30, 2022. Owners may contact Prevost customer service at 1-866-870-2046. |
