THE INVOLVED TIRES FAIL TO MEET THE ENDURANCE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 119, "NEW PNEUMATIC TIRES FOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER CARS". THE PREMATURE FAILURE IS DUE TO TREAD SEPARATION UNDER ADVERSE CONDITIONS OF OVERLOAD, HIGH SPEED, OR UNDERINFLATION.
