RECALL FOR EXTERIOR LIGHTING : BRAKE LIGHTS : SWITCH
GENERAL MOTORS IS RECALLING 5,862 MY 2000-2002 CHEVROLET BLAZER, MY 2000-2001 GMC JIMMY, AND MY 2000 OLDSMOBILE BRAVADA SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES. THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH COULD DEVELOP AN OPEN CIRCUIT CONDITION THAT RESULTS IN THE STOP LAMPS AND THE REAR HAZARD LAMPS BECOMING INOPERATIVE. THE CENTER HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP AND TURN SIGNAL FUNCTIONS ARE NOT AFFECTED.

GENERAL MOTORS IS RECALLING 5,862 MY 2000-2002 CHEVROLET BLAZER, MY 2000-2001 GMC JIMMY, AND MY 2000 OLDSMOBILE BRAVADA SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES. i have a 1996 chevy blazer, and all of this is going wrong with it. i think my multifunction switch has gone bad because my brak lights don't work and i already replaced my break switch. any suggestions?

Im on SSI an spent over 4.000 for a 1999 cheve blazer. spent every thing i had to have a good reliable vehicle to get me back an forth to doctors. have'nt had it for 11 months an then things go wrong.frist two months the ABS stop working. then the tranny goes just going down the road.I hear a plunk tranny starts slipping drive it not even 1/2 mille home go to back in my drive no revures an ters come to my eyes i paid all that money for this blazer.latter my son told me about all the recalls an serious problems that cheve blazers has had about the ABS brakes an tranny problems.well i need the General Motors CORP.to do the right thing.Fix my cheve blazers ABS.
