2009 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins. A/C clutch bolt broke off. Windshield wiper fluid motor stopped working. Cruise control won't engage. Dealer cannot explain why check engine light is always on. Change oil will come on within 50 miles of a fresh oil / fuel filter change. TPMS has to be reprogrammed ($$$) after every tire rotation. Key replacement: $165.00 for the key. $95.00 to re-program the transponder. Its' your truck but Dodge owns the transponder code and is proprietary so you HAVE to go to them. $5.00 to cut the key. Had the braking system checked and all components looked good. Cannot explain why brakes occasionally squeal.

I've had ram diesel pickups for 25 years and never had brake problems like this 2009 does. This is the second caliper failure so far, at just over 40,000 miles. This time it almost caught fire. I would be hard pressed to think of buying another. For the price these things cost, one would think that they would be engineered better.

TBS. Engine stalling on 4 brand new Dodge RAM 1500's. End results were: It was my problem because I keep my left foot "above" the brake and there is a hidden computer chip built into the brake pedal that detects this, thus stalling the engine. So I have had 4 new trucks since Dec, 2011
