1981 DODGE ST REGIS Recall - FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:CARBURETOR SYSTEM

Problem: ENGINE MAY LOSE POWER OR STALL DUE TO CARBURETOR FLOODING. THIS IS CAUSED BY A POOR ELECTRICAL GROUND ON THE CARBURETOR FUEL BOWL VENT SOLENOID. VEHICLES MAY ALSO HAVE DRIVEABILITY PROBLEMS WHILE THE ENGINE IS WARMING UP IN COLD WEATHER. THESE PROBLEMS INCLUDE ENGINE MISSING, SAGS, AND HESITATION. THIS IS CAUSED BY A STICKING CARBURETOR OXYGEN FEEDBACK SOLENOID.Recall Details - 5/5/1981

1981 DODGE ST REGIS Recall - VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL

Problem: THE AUTOMATIC SPEED CONTROL SWITCH MAY STICK IN THE "RESUME" POSITION RESTRICTING RETURN MOVEMENT. THIS WILL NOT ALLOW THE NORMAL BRAKE PEDAL OPERATION TO DEACTIVATE THE SYSTEM.Recall Details - 9/22/1981

1979 DODGE ST REGIS Recall - SUSPENSION:FRONT:WHEEL BEARING

Problem: THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN ASSEMBLED WITH AN OVERSIZED RIGHT FRONT WHEEL BEARING CUP WHICH ALSO PREVENTS THE PLANT LUBRICATING EQUIPMENT FROM CYCLING TO LUBRICATE BOTH THE INNER AND OUTER WHEEL BEARINGS. THE RESULTANT BEARING LOOSENESS AND/OR THE LACK OF LUBRICATION MAY CAUSE BEARING FAILURE AND, POSSIBLY, WHEEL SPINDLE DAMAGE.Recall Details - 1/5/1979
