Consequences |
IF BOTH BRACKETS SEPARATE, THE REAR AXLE CAN MOVE LATERALLY UNTIL THE TIRES CONTACT EITHER THE FRAME OR THE WHEELHOUSE RESULTING IN EITHER TIRE DAMAGE OR A SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION IN VEHICLE HANDLING PERFORMANCE. |
Corrective action |
DEALERS WILL INSTALL A TRACK BAR BRACKET REINFORCEMENT KIT AND INSPECTION OF THE AXLE TUBES. THE SUSPECT AXLE TUBES DO NOT HAVE A STAMPED DATE CODE ON THE TUBE. AXLES WITHOUT DATE CODES ON THE TUBES WILL BE REPLACED. |

MY TRUCK WAS PARKED IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE AS I LOOK OUT MY WINDOW,IT IS ROLLING DOWN THE STREET HITTING TWO PARKED CARS ,WHO IS RESPONSIBLE OBVIOSLY NOT ME BUT IM IN THE SITUATION NOW OF HAVING TO PAY FOR BOTH OF THERE CARS AND MINES ,I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF SOMEONE WOULD CONTACT ME AND ASSIST ME IN MY SITUATION!

I love my expedition even buying it used. the comfort for four kids ages from 12-19, 3 girls and only 1 boy there is room to sprawl out along with the heat/cooling vents to circulate air. I do have problems with it and the 4 wheel interior switch and not working and need to also know how to find out for sure if all the recalls for this vehicle were actually fixed and is there a time frame to get fixed if not done at time of recall. Thank you for help and look forward to answers.
