RECALL FOR AIR BAGS : FRONTAL : PASSENGER SIDE : INFLATOR MODULE
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain model year 2003 Odyssey vehicles manufactured August 28, 2002, to August 30, 2002. The affected vehicles were manufactured with the incorrect air bag modules, rendering the vehicles noncompliant with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain model year 2003 Odyssey vehicles manufactured August 28, 2002, to August 30, 2002. The affected vehicles were manufactured with the incorrect air bag modules, rendering the vehicles noncompliant with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." |
| Consequences |
Air bags that do not meet the safety requirements increase the risk of occupant injury in the event of a crash. |
| Corrective action |
Honda will notify owners, dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag module, free of charge. The recall began on October 27, 2015. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is JU0. |

I am a second owner of an Odyssey, with the same torque problem now at 110k miles. Dealer is telling me that they fixed the problem back when the original owner had it....but it is now doing the same exact thing. I am trying to find out if they've had to fix it a second time around.

Our 2003 Honda Odyssey is experiencing serious gear and transmission problems. What is worse is trying to get the help we need in order to correct this problem. We bought this as a used van with the counseled knowledge that Honda is a great car; however, this is ridiculous.
