VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER AND MULTI-PURPOSE VEHICLES ORIGINALLY SOLD OR CURRENTLY REGISTERED IN THE STATES OF CONNECTICUT, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, MAINE, MARYLAND, MASSACHUSETTS, MICHIGAN, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, VERMONT, OR WISCONSIN, AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. THE FRONT DISC BRAKE ROTORS CAN EXPERIENCE SEVERE CORROSION IF OPERATED FOR AN EXTENSIVE PERIOD IN THE "SALT BELT." If my vechicle is in 4WD, I can turn to the left to make a UTURN, and I have no problems. But, if I am in 2WD, the jeep will begin to hop and wobble as I make a left-hand UTURN. The alignment is intact as it was taken to an authorized Jeep Dealer for alignment, and they could not determine the cause of the problem. The lead mechanic was easily able to duplicate the occurence, so this is something seriously wrong here. I also noticed that if driving in the mountains on an unpaved road, and I make a switchback lefthand turn, the jeep will hop and wobble pretty seriously. The jeep is a single-owner vehicle, and has never been involved in an accident.
