9/2/2010 - Gary Band
We have a Lincoln 2000 LS, I purchased w/56000mi.
We have had the majority of the eight ignition coils fail, needing replacement, the ft passenger side window regulator has broken(plastic), the left rear speaker has a short and often buzzes, which is very annoying, wehave had problems with the engine overheating, the rear tires semed to track ok, but on closer inspection, they had worn down thru the steel cords on the inside edge of both tires, (25000) miles The front end began feeling odd, so I removed the front tires to have a look to find the driver side lower ball joint, nut, was half way to OFF! This would certainly have been just a few short miles from that joint coming entirely disconnected and the vehicle would have immediately pulled hard left into oncoming traffic, or a concrete barrier on the freeway. The shifter now requires that you pull in the release trigger as you start the car, as after it's started, you cannot get it to allow you to put the car in gear. M
