RECALL FOR EQUIPMENT : MECHANICAL : BOOM/CRANE/LADDER : TURNTABLE

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2012-2016 AT200A aerial devices. Cracks may develop in the legs of the mounting frame, which can cause the mounting frame side plate to break.

Owners Notified on 1/13/2022 # Affected 4,055 Recalled for EQUIPMENT:MECHANICAL:BOOM/CRANE/LADDER:TURNTABLE Description Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2012-2016 AT200A aerial devices. Cracks may develop in the legs of the mounting frame, which can cause the mounting frame side plate to break. Consequences A broken side plate may result in pedestal and truck frame separation, increasing the risk of injury. Corrective action Altec will repair the side plates as necessary, or provide a repair kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2022.
