2022 AUTOCAR XPEDITOR RECALL - #21V565000

RECALL FOR FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL : DELIVERY : HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2022 Xpeditor vehicles equipped with Cummins L9 Diesel Engines that have remote Stage 2 fuel filters and pressurized hoses. A fuel leak may occur from the fuel hose between the fuel pump and the remote fuel filter head.

Vehicle 2022 AUTOCAR XPEDITOR Manufacturer Autocar, LLC Manufactured between 1/1/1900 - 1/1/1900 Recalled on 7/26/2021 Influenced by Autocar, LLC Owners Notified on 9/3/2021 # Affected 107 Recalled for FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS Description Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2022 Xpeditor vehicles equipped with Cummins L9 Diesel Engines that have remote Stage 2 fuel filters and pressurized hoses. A fuel leak may occur from the fuel hose between the fuel pump and the remote fuel filter head. Consequences A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. Corrective action Cummins will replace the fuel hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 3, 2021.
