Child Car Seat Recalls

Apr 09, 2025 – Chicco USA, Inc. (Chicco) is recalling certain MyFit Zip Air Harness and Booster child restraint seats (CRS) with model numbers 07079561970070 and 04079561190070. In certain configurations, the child seat may allow excessive chest movement in a crash. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."

Mar 14, 2025 – Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) is recalling certain child seats and travel systems. Please refer to Evenflo's recall report for specific model numbers. The child seats and travel systems are missing the USA recall registration card. As such, these child seats and travel systems fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."

Mar 12, 2025 – Dorel Juvenile Group (Dorel) is recalling certain Safety 1st Comfort Ride 3-in-1, Boost & Go 3-in-1, Boost & Go Essential 3-in-1, and MagicSquad 3-in-1 harness booster child seats. Please refer to Dorel's recall report for specific model numbers. The forward-facing installation label incorrectly states the height range. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."

Feb 14, 2025 – Columbus Trading-Partners USA, Inc. (CTP) is recalling certain Cybex Aton G, Aton G SensorSafe, Aton G Swivel, Aton G Swivel SensorSafe, Eos and Aton G Swivel Travel System, Eos and Aton G Travel System, Libelle and Aton G Travel System, and Beezy and Aton G Travel System child seats. The harness hip anchorage retention hooks may bend, causing the anchor pin to loosen, and the harness strap to detach.

Nov 27, 2024 – Nuna Baby Essentials, Inc. (Nuna) is recalling certain Rava child seats with a plastic harness adjuster button, manufactured between July 16, 2016 and October 25, 2023. Please see the recall report for a complete list of model numbers. Debris may enter the front harness adjuster and cause the mechanism to fail, resulting in a loose harness.

Nov 19, 2024 – Britax Child Safety, Inc. (Britax) is recalling certain One4Life Slim ClickTight All-in-One car seats with model numbers E1D197A, E1D197B, E1D197F, and E1D197G. The labels and user guide incorrectly state the maximum rear-facing lower anchor weight. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."

Nov 06, 2023 – Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) is recalling one Titan 65 child seat. The child seat is missing the warning labels. As such, this child seat fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."

May 04, 2023 – Baby Trend, Inc. (Baby Trend) is recalling certain Hybrid 3-in-1 Combination Booster Seat-Desert Blue child seats. The latch assembly webbing that secures the child restraint system to the lower anchorages may fray, which can reduce the strength of the webbing and fail to properly restrain a child in a crash. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 213, "Child Restraint Systems," and 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."

Mar 14, 2023 – Dorel Juvenile Group (Dorel) is recalling certain Maxi-Cosi Coral XP Rear-facing Infant Seats with model number IC313. The child seat inner carrier is not sufficient to restrain a child without the use of the outer carrier. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."

Mar 03, 2023 – Dorel Juvenile Group (Dorel) is recalling certain Safety 1st onBoard 35 Secure Tech, Safety 1st Secure Tech Infant Base, Maxi-Cosi Coral XP, Maxi-Cosi Mico XP Max, Maxi-Cosi Mico XP, Maxi-Cosi Mico Luxe+, and Maxi-Cosi Infant Base child seats. Please refer to Dorel's recall report for specific model numbers. The lower seat anchors used to secure the child seat base may fail, allowing the child seat to detach. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."
