Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar seat belt assemblies with part number 7SU27DX9AA, 7SU10DX9AA, 7SV41DX9AA, 7SV42DX9AA, 7ZK68DX9AA, 7ZK69DX9AA, 8AR89DX9AA, or 8BM60DX9AA. The rear outboard seat belts may become twisted and fail to retract properly.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 1,458 units affected.

- Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar seat belt assemblies with part number 7SU27DX9AA, 7SU10DX9AA, 7SV41DX9AA, 7SV42DX9AA, 7ZK68DX9AA, 7ZK69DX9AA, 8AR89DX9AA, or 8BM60DX9AA. The rear outboard seat belts may become twisted and fail to retract properly.
- Consequeces:
- A seat belt that does not retract properly may fail to restrain an occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury.
- Corrective action:
- Dealers will replace or refund the retractors, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning September 24, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 88D.
