– THE DISTANCE FROM THE FIRST THREAD OF THE FILTER TO THE GASKET FACE IS APPROXIMATELY 0.405" AND IT SHOULD BE APPROXIMATELY 0.388". THIS DESIGN ONLY ALLOWS A FEW THREADS TO ENGAGE WHEN INSTALLING ON MOTORCYCLE AND CAN RESULT IN THE FILTER "BLOWING OFF."
