MOPAR AIR BAG Recalls

Mar 26, 2026 – Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar side curtain air bags with part numbers 68224526AJ and 68224527AH. The right and left side curtain air bags may have insufficient pressure retention from improperly sealed seams. As such, this equipment fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, "Ejection Mitigation."

May 08, 2025 – Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar side curtain air bags with part numbers 68224526AJ, 68224527AG, 68224526AI, and 68224527AH. The right and left side curtain air bags may have insufficient pressure retention from improperly sealed seams. As such, this equipment fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, "Ejection Mitigation."

Mar 14, 2024 – Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain MOPAR right and left side curtain air bags, with part numbers 68222742AF, 68222743AF, 05108050AF, and 05108049AF, sold as replacement parts for certain 2011-2019 Dodge Charger and 2011-2020 Chrysler 300 vehicles. The replacement right and left side curtain air bag inflators may rupture due to a manufacturing defect.

Aug 12, 2021 – Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar right and left-side Crew Cab, Quad Cab, Mega Cab, and Standard Cab side air bag inflatable curtains (SABIC) sold as replacement parts. Please see the part 573 report for a list of affected part numbers. The SABIC inflator end cap may detach from the inflator, or the inflator sidewall may rupture.

Sep 12, 2019 – Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain Mopar replacement passenger air bag modules, part number 68335088AA. The air bag modules did not complete developmental testing.
