Sentury Tire Thailand is recalling certain Arroyo

Sentury Tire Thailand (Sentury Tire) is recalling certain Arroyo, Landgolden, Landsail, Lexani, Lionhart, Mavis, Mohave, National, Radar, and Vercelli tires. Please refer to the recall report for specific tires and affected tire production population. The tire's base tread layer was improperly cured, which can result in tread separation.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 8,900 units affected.

Description:: Sentury Tire Thailand (Sentury Tire) is recalling certain Arroyo, Landgolden, Landsail, Lexani, Lionhart, Mavis, Mohave, National, Radar, and Vercelli tires. Please refer to the recall report for specific tires and affected tire production population. The tire's base tread layer was improperly cured, which can result in tread separation.
Consequeces:: Tire tread separation can cause vehicle instability, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 1, 2023. Owners may contact Sentury Tire at 1-866-305-2750. Sentury Tire's number for this recall is 1723.

ARROYO GRAND SPORT A/S Complaints
Had 2 new tires installed on the rear of the car and they both busted at the seam. Shredded the tires and damaged 4 wheels.;
LANDGOLDEN LG17 Complaints
LandGolden LG17 185/55R15 82V All Season Radial Tires purchased from Amazon (seller: Priority Tire) and professionally installed. Tires have been balanced and rotated approximately every 5000 miles. Less than 30,000 miles and tires are already at 3/32" tread due to manufacturing defect, per multiple tire stores. Older tires on same car (different brand tires) have worn down significantly less than these LandGolden tires. The advertised tread life for these tires are 65,000 miles.;
LEXANI LX-TWENTY Complaints
The contact owns a 2018 Tesla Model X equipped with Lexani Tires, Tire Line: LX-20 Performance, Tire Size: 265/45/R20, DOT Number: 1TBA7B95C3724. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was a loud sound coming from the front of the vehicle. After the vehicle was inspected, the contact observed tread separation on the driver’s side rear tire, and that the top tread portion of the tire was separating. Due to the tire failure, the vehicle became inoperable. Additionally, the transmission failed to properly shift into park(P), and there was a wiring harness failure following the failure. Due to the failure the vehicle was not drivable and required to be towed. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact stated that the failure was associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 23T009000 (TIRES). The tire was a replacement tire. The tire failure mileage was approximately 8,000. The vehicle failure mileage was approximately 78,886.;
