Isuzu Manufacturing Services of America, Inc. (Isuzu) is recalling certain model year 2013 N-Series trucks manufactured March 8, 2012, through Auguest 2, 2012 and equipped with an automatic transmission. Due to a manufacturing change, the transmission retaining ring may dislodge from the clutch drum.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 1,161 units affected.

- Isuzu Manufacturing Services of America, Inc. (Isuzu) is recalling certain model year 2013 N-Series trucks manufactured March 8, 2012, through Auguest 2, 2012 and equipped with an automatic transmission. Due to a manufacturing change, the transmission retaining ring may dislodge from the clutch drum.
- Consequeces:
- If the ring dislodges while the vehicle is in motion, the vehicle may lose forward driving power and become stalled, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Isuzu will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected transmissions, free of charge. The recall began on June 28, 2013. Customers may contact Isuzu Customer service at 1-866-441-9638.
