Federal Coach, Inc. (Federal) is recalling certain model year 2010 Spirit and Premier transit buses, equipped with A&M Systems-brand door actuators. Voltage spikes may damage electrical components and electrical circuits, causing the actuator's circuit board to develop high resistance.
The recall was influenced by the Office of Defects Investigation with about 30 units affected.

- Federal Coach, Inc. (Federal) is recalling certain model year 2010 Spirit and Premier transit buses, equipped with A&M Systems-brand door actuators. Voltage spikes may damage electrical components and electrical circuits, causing the actuator's circuit board to develop high resistance.
- Consequeces:
- High resistance may cause the board to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
- Corrective action:
- Federal notified owners and dealers will replace the circuit board, free of charge. The recall began in June 2014. Owners may contact Federal at 1-800-348-7440.
