Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Multistrada 1200 and 1200 S motorcycles manufactured December 1, 2014, to June 11, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the side-stand may break, due to an incorrect length of the side-stand support tube.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 869 units affected.

- Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Multistrada 1200 and 1200 S motorcycles manufactured December 1, 2014, to June 11, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the side-stand may break, due to an incorrect length of the side-stand support tube.
- Consequeces:
- If the side-stand breaks, the motorcyle would fall over, increasing the risk of injury to the rider and/or the passenger.
- Corrective action:
- Ducati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the side-stand support tubes, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on November 5, 2015. Owners may contact Ducati customer service at 1-800-231-6696. The recall number for this recall is RCL-15-003.
