Strick Trailers, LLC is recalling certain model year 2001

Strick Trailers, LLC (Strick) is recalling certain model year 2001, 2003, 2005, and 2008-2012 Single axle van trailers equipped with rear impact guards using gussets 50185 and 50186. These rear impact guard gussets increase the chances of injury in the event of a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 223, "Rear Impact Guards."
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 233 units affected.
