Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2016 Jay Flight SLX recreational trailers manufactured March 3, 2016, to April 20, 2016. The bolts that secure the propane tank to the trailer's A-frame may be missing lock washers, allowing the propane tank to loosen and detach from the vehicle.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 241 units affected.

- Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2016 Jay Flight SLX recreational trailers manufactured March 3, 2016, to April 20, 2016. The bolts that secure the propane tank to the trailer's A-frame may be missing lock washers, allowing the propane tank to loosen and detach from the vehicle.
- Consequeces:
- If the propane tank detaches from the trailer, there is an increased risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Jayco has notified owners, and dealers will install the lock washers to the two bolts that secure the propane tank to the A-frame, free of charge. The recall began on May 17, 2016. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901298.
