Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 1997-2017 LRV, and LR7 Aerial devices. The platform leveling yoke may fail, possibly causing an occupant to fall from the platform.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 18,000 units affected.

- Description:
- Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 1997-2017 LRV, and LR7 Aerial devices. The platform leveling yoke may fail, possibly causing an occupant to fall from the platform.
- Consequeces:
- Failure of the platform leveling yoke can cause the occupant of the platform to fall out, increasing their risk of injury.
- Corrective action:
- Altec will notify owners, and will inspect the leveling system to verify the correct alignment, replacing any improperly aligned yokes, free of charge. The recall began on April 11, 2018. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN 672.
