Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2016-2019 IC bus CE school buses equipped with 8.8L liquid propane gas (LPG) engines. The LPDM relay for the propane booster pump and the scavenge pump may intermittently fail, causing the fuel pump to stop.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 1,047 units affected.

- Description:
- Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2016-2019 IC bus CE school buses equipped with 8.8L liquid propane gas (LPG) engines. The LPDM relay for the propane booster pump and the scavenge pump may intermittently fail, causing the fuel pump to stop.
- Consequeces:
- If the fuel pump stops, the bus will stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the LPDM relay, free of charge. The recall began on April 12, 2018. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 18501.
