PACCAR Incorporated is recalling certain 2018 Kenworth T270 trucks

PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2018 Kenworth T270 trucks. The outer spindle nut of the front wheel hub assembly may have been incorrectly installed possibly causing bearing failure.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 14 units affected.

Description:
PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2018 Kenworth T270 trucks. The outer spindle nut of the front wheel hub assembly may have been incorrectly installed possibly causing bearing failure.
Consequeces:
Front wheel bearing failure can lead to front wheel separation, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:
PACCAR has notified owners, and dealers have inspected the hub assembly and corrected the installations, free of charge. The recall began April 26, 2018. Owners may contact Kenworth customer service at 1-425-828-5000. PACCAR's number for this recall is 18KWB.
