Entegra Coach is recalling certain 2018-2019 Entegra Odyssey

Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Entegra Odyssey, Qwest, Aspire, Insignia, Anthem, and Cornerstone motorhomes. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label incorrectly overstates the cargo capacity, potentially causing the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars."

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 58 units affected.

Description:: Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Entegra Odyssey, Qwest, Aspire, Insignia, Anthem, and Cornerstone motorhomes. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label incorrectly overstates the cargo capacity, potentially causing the vehicle to be overloaded. Consequeces:: An overloaded vehicle has an increased risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Entegra will notify owners, and will provided a corrected CCC label, free of charge. The recall began on August 22, 2018. Owners may contact Entegra customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Entegra's number for this recall is 9903405.

2019 ENTEGRA ANTHEM Complaints
The rear bathroom window, on the left side (driver’s side), separated and fell off the coach. The incident was not observed in real time but discovered after a stop at an RV park. The window fell off somewhere along a busy Interstate. This is a potential hazardous if not life threatening condition. There is a recall for these windows (NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V529000), but apparently my coach was manufactured before the manufacturer complete day. Below is the details on that particular window: WINDOW,18X24 7690 BLK Lippert Components (LCI) part number of V000512571 As you might expect I am terrified that another window might separate and damage another vehicle, or worse cause serious injury or death to unsuspecting motorist. I have never reported a an incident with the NHTSA but would think that this occurrence would raise some serious alarm bells with whoever reviews this submission.;
2019 ENTEGRA ASPIRE Complaints
Motorhome engine went into derate mode because of faulty DEF sensor. Spartan is the chassis manufacturer and advises this is a common problem with the DEF sensors. We have since learned there is a protocol to follow to keep engine from going to 5 MPH derate mode but did not know about this at time and Spartan apparently did not know it either because they advised just getting off the road ASAP. Luckily we avoided shut down on I-95 but if it occurred on a busy interstate the safety ramifications are enormous. It seems to me a safety recall should be issued on all vehicles with this defective part and the design changed so that if a failure occurs, reasonable advance notice should be incorporated in the design as I understand some trucks have.;
2019 ENTEGRA CORNERSTONE Complaints
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 ENTEGRA CORNERSTONE MOTORHOME. WHILE DRIVING AT UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE ENTRANCE DOOR FAILED TO CLOSE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,000.;
