Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2019 Jaguar F-Pace, F-Type, and XJ vehicles equipped with V6 or V8 gasoline engines. The crankshaft pulley retaining bolt may have been improperly manufactured, possibly causing the crankshaft pulley bolt to fracture, potentially resulting in engine failure.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 443 units affected.

Description:: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2019 Jaguar F-Pace, F-Type, and XJ vehicles equipped with V6 or V8 gasoline engines. The crankshaft pulley retaining bolt may have been improperly manufactured, possibly causing the crankshaft pulley bolt to fracture, potentially resulting in engine failure.
Consequeces:: Engine failure may increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Jaguar has notified owners, and dealers will replace the crankshaft pulley center retaining bolt, free of charge. The recall began February 11, 2019. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H181.

2019 JAGUAR F-PACE Complaints
Failure of the Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) rack on 2019 Jaguar Pace causing an immediate safety hazard when driven in the rain. Factory EPAS motor housings suffer from inherent design vulnerability. Power steering to the vehicle was locked up with dashboard warning. Jaguar Monroeville has confirmed need for new steering rack, tie rods, etc costing $8900 including labor. There were no warnings prior to failure as the issue arose when driving in the rain. There is an active community of over 1800 JLR drivers called JLR Power Steering Alliance Group on Facebook fighting this issue with proposed class action lawsuits. 2019 JAGUAR F-TYPE Complaints
There is a known issue with a piece inside of the drivers side headlight assembly causing the DRL and blinker to be very dim to where it is difficult to see in the daylight. The known failure is a piece inside called the Oculator. It apparently burns and melts causing the led light to fail to travel down the plastic strip effectively causing the blinker to be too dim. Jaguar knows about the issue and has manufactured a new headlight assembly with a corrected version of this oculator piece. They refuse to correct the issue under warranty however. My question is this...is this blinker too dim now to pass the federal standard listed for brightness of these turn signals? My car, or practically any other F-type that is 2019 or above, and has 30,000 miles or more on the odometer should be able to be used for verification.;
2019 JAGUAR XJ Complaints
Our 2019 Jaguar XJ only has 41000 miles on it but it has a poorly designed cooling system: Hoses for the cooling system travel directly under the super charger assembly and are not designed to stay intac for anywhere near our 100,000 mile Warranty but are NOT covered by warranty. This, I would argue is a definitive safety issue with the fumes that are produced and the leakage from the pink hybrid coolant. Also, the available replacement parts are metal piping as opposed to the inferior plastic installed by the manufacturer, which seems intentional due to the high cost FOR REPLACEMENT born by the consumer. Due to the frequency reported by consumers for this issue this should have been classified as a recall because of the engine failures that have most certainly taken place, which pose MULTIPLE other safety issues as well.;
