REV Ambulance Group Orlando, Inc. (REV) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Road Rescue Ultramedic emergency vehicles equipped with ASA Electronics backup camera displays recalled under 19E-009. The displays may revert to the factory default settings which may cause the camera image to be reversed.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 3 units affected.

- Description:
- REV Ambulance Group Orlando, Inc. (REV) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Road Rescue Ultramedic emergency vehicles equipped with ASA Electronics backup camera displays recalled under 19E-009. The displays may revert to the factory default settings which may cause the camera image to be reversed.
- Consequeces:
- The driver may inadvertently turn the wrong direction to avoid an object behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Rev has notified owners, and dealers will install a harness relay capacitor module to prevent the image from reversing, free of charge. The recall began April 17, 2019. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-855-661-9232.
