Chrysler is recalling certain 2011-2013 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2011-2013 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with a 3.6, 5.7, or 6.4 liter engine and previously recalled under NHTSA Recall 14V530 or 15V115. The fuel pump relay inside the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM-7) may fail, causing the vehicle to stall without warning.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 528,594 units affected.

Description:: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2011-2013 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with a 3.6, 5.7, or 6.4 liter engine and previously recalled under NHTSA Recall 14V530 or 15V115. The fuel pump relay inside the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM-7) may fail, causing the vehicle to stall without warning.
Consequeces:: A vehicle stall increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) will replace the affected fuel pump relay and related wire harness. Interim notices informing owners of the safety risk were mailed beginning December 19, 2019. Vehicles that experience a fuel pump failure will receive an interim repair. Owners will receive a second notice when the final remedy becomes available. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 10, 2020. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is V62.

The front passenger seat active head rest deployed while the vehicle was stopped and my wife was getting into the vehicle.;
2013 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE Complaints
On August 17, 2026, while my wife was driving our 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 under normal conditions, the front passenger Active Head Restraint (AHR/headrest) suddenly and violently deployed without any collision, impact, or other apparent triggering event. I was seated in the front passenger seat and the spring-loaded head restraint struck me hard in the back of the head. Approximately 24 hours after the incident, I developed headache, pain around/behind my eyes, and nausea. The symptoms are intermittent, with periods of feeling normal followed by nausea and headache. Because of these symptoms following the head impact, and as advised by my GP, I went to the hospital for medical evaluation and treatment. The Jeep dealer has inspected the vehicle and advised that the passenger head restraint requires replacement. The repair could be handled under my Mopar Lifetime Maximum Care warranty. However, the dealer has also advised me that Jeep/FCA no longer has the replacement head restraint available, so the defective safety component currently cannot be replaced with the required new part. I am also concerned about the driver’s Active Head Restraint because it is the same age and design as the passenger-side unit that deployed unexpectedly. The dealer advised that the driver’s unit cannot be replaced under warranty unless it also fails. FCA/Jeep has been notified of the incident and my resulting injury and is reviewing the matter. I am filing this complaint because an occupant-restraint component deployed without a collision, caused a head injury requiring hospital evaluation, and a replacement for the failed safety component is reportedly no longer available from the manufacturer.;
