Chrysler is recalling certain 2020 Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500X vehicles

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2020 Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500X vehicles. The right rear brake caliper could have been fractured during the casting process.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 1,353 units affected.

Description:: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2020 Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500X vehicles. The right rear brake caliper could have been fractured during the casting process.
Consequeces:: A cracked right rear brake caliper can fail, reducing braking performance and increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the right rear brake calipers, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began February 7, 2020. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is VE8.

2020 FIAT 500X Complaints
I have an open recall related to the activation system for the airbags. I have not had an event related to the recall at this time, however I am stationed in South Korea as an active duty member. My car is with me in South Korea, and there are no Fiat dealerships in country. I am set for a permanent change of station to Suffolk England, where there are Fiat dealerships in country. The shipper will not take the car with an open recall without a letter from Fiat advising that the recall cannot be addressed at this time due to the lack of dealerships in the country. I have contacted Fiat multiple times and have had case numbers assigned ([XXX]and [XXX]) without any attempts by Fiat made to respond. The recall cannot be addressed while I am in Korea, so without a letter, Fiat is essentially making it impossible for the recall to be addressed. 2020 JEEP RENEGADE Complaints
Infotainment system is highly defective even after replacement. The screen goes black, shows white lines and you're left unable to use your backup camera! After doing research this problem stems all the way back to 2016 renegades with the same system.;
