Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC. (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2020 C300 Cabrio, C300 Cabrio 4MATIC, C300 Coupe, C43 AMG Cabrio 4MATIC, C43 AMG Coupe 4MATIC, C63S AMG Cabrio, CLS53 AMG 4MATIC, E350, E350 4MATIC, E450 Cabrio, E450 Cabrio 4MATIC, E450 Coupe, E450 Coupe 4MATIC, E450 4MATIC, E53 AMG Cabrio 4MATIC, GLC300 Coupe 4MATIC, GLC300, GLC300 4MATIC, GLC63 AMG Coupe 4MATIC, AMG GT63 4-Door 4MATIC, and AMG GT63S 4-Door 4MATIC vehicles. An electrical circuit inside the Emergency Call System (eCall) communication module may be damaged, potentially relaying an inaccurate vehicle location.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 239 units affected.

(MBUSA) is recalling certain 2020 C300 Cabrio, C300 Cabrio 4MATIC, C300 Coupe, C43 AMG Cabrio 4MATIC, C43 AMG Coupe 4MATIC, C63S AMG Cabrio, CLS53 AMG 4MATIC, E350, E350 4MATIC, E450 Cabrio, E450 Cabrio 4MATIC, E450 Coupe, E450 Coupe 4MATIC, E450 4MATIC, E53 AMG Cabrio 4MATIC, GLC300 Coupe 4MATIC, GLC300, GLC300 4MATIC, GLC63 AMG Coupe 4MATIC, AMG GT63 4-Door 4MATIC, and AMG GT63S 4-Door 4MATIC vehicles. An electrical circuit inside the Emergency Call System (eCall) communication module may be damaged, potentially relaying an inaccurate vehicle location.
Consequeces:: An inaccurate vehicle location may delay emergency responders, increasing the risk of injury.
Corrective action:: MBUSA will notify owners, and dealers will replace the communication module, free of charge. The recall began April 14, 2020. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2020030016.

2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG C43 Complaints
Car stops accelerating and shifts into neutral without warning I nearly got hit from behind. I have consulted several other Mercedes vehicle owners and all had the same issue. Two of the other owners stated that this happened on the interstate and was very lucky they were not involved in a collision. Both vehicles were GLC 300. Mercedes does not seem to have an answer to the issue and all previous owners traded vehicles for fear of dying.;
2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG CLS53 Complaints
Rear view camera sticks open and shows a black screen in the car... there is a recall but not for my specific vehicle... when it sticks open its inoperable and using the same "button" to open the trunk is also inoperable..;
2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG E53 Complaints
The Engine Electrical harness is completely corroded after only 50,000 miles requiring a 4k+ repair. Oil leaking from the camshaft sensor pushed it way all throughout harness. There are no warnings as it will only be noticeable after doing routine maintenance OUTSIDE of the manufactures warranty. While driving you may lose complete power or slight power loss due to engine misfiring and low system voltage. Warranty company has denied my claim saying that it looks as if the car was in an accident with water damage but the car is pristine and accident free. This is happening to all Mercedes with magnetic camshaft solenoids after doing routine spark plugs. Any movement of the wires will cause damage to the corrosion and then electrical problems. This happened before with previous generations and they recalled the engine to put extensions between the sensors and harness. Unfortunately they did not do a recall for this generation even though the same problem is apparent!;
2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GLC63 Complaints
The contact owns a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC63. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at highway speeds, the vehicle inadvertently decelerated while the accelerator pedal was being depressed. The check engine warning light illuminated, and a message displayed on the instrument panel stated that the “Transmission Needs to Cool, Stop and Pull Over Immediately”. The contact stated that the vehicle had locked in first gear and decelerated to approximately 55 MPH. Additionally, the contact stated that his wife was able to navigate the vehicle back to the residence. The contact stated that the following day the contact was able to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it remained awaiting a diagnostic test. The vehicle had not yet been repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was provided a case number. The failure mileage was approximately 24,000.;
