Nissan North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2012-2017 NV Cargo and NV Passenger Van

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2012-2017 NV Cargo and NV Passenger Van, 2013-2015 Titan and Armada and 2011-2012 Infiniti QX56 vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, the air bag inflator may not function properly or may rupture during deployment.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 216,678 units affected.

Description:: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2012-2017 NV Cargo and NV Passenger Van, 2013-2015 Titan and Armada and 2011-2012 Infiniti QX56 vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, the air bag inflator may not function properly or may rupture during deployment.
Consequeces:: An inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
Corrective action:: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front driver air bag inflators, free of charge. The recall began May 7, 2020. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 or Infiniti customer service at 1-800-662-6200.

2012 INFINITI QX56 Complaints
While driving my vehicle with my family, I experienced a sudden and dangerous loss of control. I was able to safely maneuver the vehicle off the roadway without injury. After inspection, it was determined that the subframe had fractured due to severe rust, which was not previously identified. The failure occurred without warning and directly impacted the ability to control the vehicle, creating a significant safety hazard. No warnings or messages indicated a problem existed prior to the failure.;
2015 NISSAN ARMADA Complaints

Checked and verified by two certified dealers: C&E Tire and Auto on 10/17/25 estimated repair: $2,024.28 Nissan of Clearwater, FL on 10/28/25 estimated repair: $1,842.31 This model has recalls for airbags, but NOT my VIN#. Please answer why the 2015 Nissan Armada has recalls with its airbags, my 2025 Nissan Armada has a failed airbag, and my 2015 Nissan Armada is not covered?;
2015 NISSAN TITAN Complaints
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Titan. The contact stated that the turn signal was making an abnormal clicking sound. There was an unknown warning light illuminated. The contact noticed that the wires were exposed. Upon opening the hood, the fuse box lid was missing, and the wires were showing. The contact stated that the plastic had melted. The taillight and brake lights were inoperable. There was an abnormal sound coming from the passenger’s side front wheel, and there were nicks on the rim, and the center cap on the wheel was missing. The contact stated that the front windshield was cracked. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was determined that the wheel was detaching. The contact stated that either the fuse or the bulb was the cause of the sound and that there was an electrical issue. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 191,704.;
2017 NISSAN NV200 Complaints
Open recall called to fix fuel pump assembly due to fuel pump fuse blowing and engine shutting off, which my vehicle did, however I was charged by the dealership to replace fuel pump. Called nissan directly and still didn't get reimbursed 0;
