Forest River Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Coachmen Galleria, Dynamax Isata, and Forest River Battisti Coach, Forester, and Sunseeker motorhomes, built on 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The rear part of the front fender liner may contact and chafe the brake hose, possibly resulting in a loss of brake fluid.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 522 units affected.

Description:: Forest River Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Coachmen Galleria, Dynamax Isata, and Forest River Battisti Coach, Forester, and Sunseeker motorhomes, built on 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The rear part of the front fender liner may contact and chafe the brake hose, possibly resulting in a loss of brake fluid.
Consequeces:: Loss of brake fluid can extend the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Forest River will notify owners, and Mercedes-Benz or Freightliner Sprinter dealers will inspect and replace the brake hoses, as necessary. Additionally, the fender liners will be modified. All services will be performed free of charge. This recall began July 8, 2020. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. 2021 FOREST RIVER FORESTER Complaints
I purchased and paid for two NEW front tires for my RV from Mac’s Tire & Complete Auto in Tucson, Arizona. After the tires were installed, I drove the RV approximately 2,000 miles. During this trip, the front tires began deteriorating and coming apart on the inside. Because the damage was on the inner side of the tires, it was difficult to see during normal visual inspection. I stopped at a Firestone location in Casa Grande, Arizona, where the tires were inspected. I was informed that the two front tires that had been installed and sold to me as new were actually approximately 13 and 14 years old based on their DOT manufacturing date codes. I had driven approximately 2,000 miles at highway speeds with my family in the RV without knowing that these extremely old tires were installed on the front steering axle. The condition of the tires created a serious risk of a blowout, loss of steering control, crash, serious injury, or death. I am reporting this incident because I believe these tires presented a serious highway safety hazard. GOOD YEAR WRANGLER HT Load range E DOT 2413 and DOT 2912;
2021 FOREST RIVER SUNSEEKER Complaints
My 2021 Chevy 4500 is an RV, anyway last September 2023. I was on a 2 1/2-week vacation driving on [XXX] near Lacy Washington and was in the middle lane moving over to the slow lane when the vehicle just stalled. I had just made it off the freeway by a few feet, I seriously thought we were going to get rear ended, especially by a truck because a majority were not moving over. They were rocking our RV as they passed us. The RV ended up starting and running good not stalling again, but it was at times difficult to start. We ended up taking it home to Mount Vernon, Washington to get it repaired. It was still under warranty, although the battery wasn't. I thought at first it was a fuel problem, but after getting it scanned it was a fuel pump problem then after the fuel pump was replaced, they said it was also the fuel Modulator. I had to wait for 4 and 1/2 months to get this replaced. meanwhile my 2-year battery went dead while it was sitting there at Blade Chevrolet in Mount Vernon, Washington and there was no pro-rate on it so I was stuck for the full price of the battery.
