Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2017-2018 AT37/41/48M, AT41P, AT48S, L37M, L42A, and TA40 aerial device vehicles. The rotation bearing fasteners may experience stress corrosion cracking.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 120 units affected.

- Description:
- Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2017-2018 AT37/41/48M, AT41P, AT48S, L37M, L42A, and TA40 aerial device vehicles. The rotation bearing fasteners may experience stress corrosion cracking.
- Consequeces:
- Cracked rotation bearing fasteners may break, causing separation of the pedestal and turntable, increasing the risk of death and/or injury.
- Corrective action:
- Altec will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rotation bearing fasteners, free of charge. The recall began on May 21, 2021. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN 807.
