Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2021 Escape, Lincoln Corsair

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021 Escape, Lincoln Corsair, and 2021-2022 Bronco Sport vehicles. The fuel delivery module may leak inside the fuel tank, causing low fuel pressure which could result in an engine stall.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 13,773 units affected.

Description:: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021 Escape, Lincoln Corsair, and 2021-2022 Bronco Sport vehicles. The fuel delivery module may leak inside the fuel tank, causing low fuel pressure which could result in an engine stall.
Consequeces:: An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the fuel delivery module, free of charge. Interim notification letters (remedy not available) were mailed on September 30, 2021. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 14, 2021. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 21S38.

2021 FORD ESCAPE Complaints
The contact owns a 2021 Ford Escape. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V467000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that there was a misfire coming from the engine. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for another recall repair. The contact stated that the check engine light illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed speeds, the vehicle hesitated. Additionally, after refueling, the vehicle almost shut off unexpectedly. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The dealer confirmed that the failure was associated with the recall. The vehicle was not repaired.;
2021 LINCOLN CORSAIR Complaints
While driving on the highway my vehicle experienced a sudden severe loss of power that led you a metallic rattling noise under the front of the vehicle and smoke coming out the exhaust pipes. Took it to a Ford dealership for diagnosis and repair however, it recommendations were long engine block replacement due to coolant intrusion from a cylinder wall cracking due to a manufacturer defect that is a widely known and has a large class action lawsuit. Well, I’m being told I have to pay $11,000 out-of-pocket because my vin is not included in the active recalls of the vehicles of the same making and model as mine. The issues with my vehicle is not caused from wear and tear is a manufacturer defect and should be included to be repaired being that this vehicle is less than five years old under 100,000 miles and I’ve only had the vehicle since November 2024.;
2022 FORD BRONCO SPORT Complaints
The charcoal canister, connection, wires and felt cover has been broken. This is the second time something has went through the cover and broke the charcoal canister. First time it was covered under warranty and only the canister and cover had a hole. This time several things were broken. It caused the engine light to come on. It has also caused the lane assist to stay on. There are bare wires underneath the vehicle. The Ford company wanted to charge me over $2,000. to repair. I do not take this Bronco out on trails four wheeling, it is a family vehicle. It has been caused, I assume by a rock coming up and hitting underneath it.;
