Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2022 Super Duty F-250

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022 Super Duty F-250, F-350, 2021 F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The front-door side impact pressure sensor modules may have been damaged during supplier assembly, which can cause the side impact air bags to not deploy properly in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 214, "Side Impact Protection."

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 777 units affected.

Description:: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022 Super Duty F-250, F-350, 2021 F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The front-door side impact pressure sensor modules may have been damaged during supplier assembly, which can cause the side impact air bags to not deploy properly in a crash. Consequeces:: An air bag that does not deploy properly during a crash increases the risk of injury.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the driver and passenger front door side impact sensors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 3, 2021. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 21C26.

2021 FORD EXPEDITION Complaints
My Ford Expedition’s 10-speed automatic transmission experienced repeated slipping and sudden loss of propulsion. While accelerating from a stop and entering the highway, typically around 15–20 MPH, the engine would suddenly rev but the vehicle would stop accelerating, as if the transmission had shifted into neutral. I had to release the accelerator for several seconds and slowly reapply throttle before the transmission would re-engage. This occurred repeatedly and created a serious safety hazard when pulling into or crossing traffic because the vehicle could begin accelerating normally and then unexpectedly lose propulsion with approaching traffic. The transmission also exhibited severe harsh/banging shifts during harder acceleration and produced a rattling noise while slipping until the accelerator was released. CDF drum failure has been confirmed. The vehicle is currently at a reputable independent transmission repair facility undergoing a transmission rebuild due to the CDF failure. The transmission/components are available for inspection during the repair. There were no warning lights or messages that reliably warned of the impending loss of propulsion. This was not simply poor shift quality; the transmission defect caused an actual loss of propulsion while driving. Because this failure can leave a driver unable to accelerate while entering an intersection, pulling onto a highway, or merging into traffic, I believe the CDF failure presents a serious safety risk. I am requesting NHTSA investigate CDF-related transmission failures and determine whether a safety recall is warranted. TSB 23-2250;
2021 FORD F-150 HYBRID Complaints
I have replaced spark plugs and coil packs due to code saying severe misfiring. However, the root cause of this is the continued open recall of the fuel pump. This has effected the way I can drive my vehicle on daily activities, such as going to work, doing family things, and other things while driving this truck.;
2021 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR Complaints
I am reporting a serious intermittent transmission and loss-of-propulsion problem with my 2021 Lincoln Navigator, VIN 5LMJJ3LT6MEL05416. While driving, including at highway speeds, the transmission will unpredictably behave as though it has shifted into Neutral even though the vehicle remains in Drive. When I press the accelerator, the engine responds, but the vehicle temporarily has little or no propulsion. The transmission may then suddenly re-engage and slam or bang forcefully back into gear. This can also happen under very light throttle. I may gently press the accelerator expecting normal acceleration, but instead the vehicle acts as though it is in Neutral before suddenly engaging again. The condition is intermittent and cannot be reliably reproduced on demand, which makes it especially dangerous and unpredictable. I am concerned about losing propulsion while merging, passing, entering traffic, or attempting to accelerate away from another vehicle at highway speeds. The vehicle has previously had transmission adaptive learning/reset procedures performed, but the problem continues. I am aware that Ford/Lincoln has issued technical service information addressing momentary neutral-out, delayed engagement, harsh engagement, and other 10R80 transmission concerns on this generation of Navigator. I am also aware of Ford recall 26S48 / NHTSA recall 26V402 involving certain 2018–2021 Lincoln Navigators. I am not claiming that the recall is definitively the cause of my specific condition, but I believe this intermittent loss of propulsion presents a serious safety concern that should be investigated. I am requesting that NHTSA document and investigate this loss-of-propulsion / neutral-out condition because the vehicle can unexpectedly fail to accelerate and then violently re-engage the transmission while in motion.;
2022 FORD F-250 SD Complaints
The backup camera failed. Vehicle had a 1 year customer satisfaction program and Ford would not repair this because it failed outside the 1 year window. Now, they came out with a 15 year one time fix, but Ford does not have a remedy. This is a safety issue and should be a recall (just like it is on our 2 Ford Mavericks)! The camera was also hanging up and not allowing the sync system to shut off which was consistently draining our battery. Had our sync system updated at local mechanics shop and camera/sync started working again for a couple of weeks and its back to blue or black screen saying “camera unavailable contact dealership.” My dealership said no remedy available until Feb 2027. The vehicle also states “check your surroundings” but you can’t because it doesn’t work. This at a minimum should be a recall as it is a safety issue and it is on other Ford vehicles.;
2022 FORD F-350 SD Complaints
I have contacted my dealer several times over the past year, and filed a complaint with Ford Motor Company's, Office of General Counsel. To date, NO response from Ford. The dealer relies on Ford for the fix. This is an alarming issue, in that the failure will be mostly unexpected and perhaps catastrophic. I find it unusual and negligent for Ford to take this long for the remedy. My dealer tells me no parts are available. I drive sometimes out of state. I may get stranded and still no one can fix the issue. Ford needs "jacking up" to get this done. Fourteen months have lapsed and its way overdue.;
