Maserati North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2021 Quattroporte

Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2021 Quattroporte, Ghibli, 2021-2022 Levante, and 2022 MC20 vehicles. The fuel line sensor housing may crack and leak fuel.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 409 units affected.

Description:: Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2021 Quattroporte, Ghibli, 2021-2022 Levante, and 2022 MC20 vehicles. The fuel line sensor housing may crack and leak fuel.
Consequeces:: A fuel leak may cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash. A fuel leak also increases the risk of fire in the presence of an ignition source.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the fuel line sensor housing, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 17, 2021. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-696-2737. Maserati's number for this recall is 442.

2021 MASERATI QUATTROPORTE Complaints
Maserati has had several complaints of the leather dashboard seperating from the dashboard which becomes a visibility issue while driving it the leather flops up high enough and front of the windshield. They need to issue a recall on these dashboards. And they won't help you if your car is out of warranty.;
2022 MASERATI LEVANTE Complaints
The contact owns a 2022 Maserati Levante. The contact stated that while depressing the accelerator pedal after being at a stop sign or stopped at a traffic light, the vehicle hesitated and jerked. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact then stated that after taking the vehicle to a local dealer for a taillight recall repair and driving at an unknown speed, the service light was illuminated. The vehicle was then taken to Maserati of Newport Beach (1100 West Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, CA 92663) for a routine oil change and the service department was made aware of the failure. The contact was informed that the thermostat housing and coolant hose needed to be replaced. Additionally, the contact was made aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V872000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer awaiting parts. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 2,000.;
